Information Tool

 An informative tool is an effective tool which provides a large amount of information such as texts, images, sound, graphics, and video. We can integrate the information tool in teaching and learn through the appropriate use of the texts, images, sound, graphics, and video. All the teaching and learning should blend with the texts, images; sound, graphics, and video for functioning the lesson well and for better learning. The integration of the informative tool in teaching and learning it provides students to explore hands-on experience, connecting to the real-life situation, and relating to the environment. Moreover, they get a platform to learn in-depth of the lesson with the help of an informative tool.


For example, science, mathematics, social studies, and many curriculum textbooks are integrated with an informative tool such as images, texts, and video. However, the 21st-century teachers integrate lessons with an informative tool using information and communication technology in their respective schools. The sources that we get the information are from the internet, television, radio, newspaper, EBooks. The top priority source of the information is the internet because the internet is globally used, computer network providing different kinds of information and communication facilities in or around the world. Through the internet, it can able to connect billions of technologies and it creates a platform for sharing and receiving information between different users.  

The informative are as follows:
  • The text is a word that we can see and read, write an expression of our feeling and share views. The text consists of alphabets and numbers. Examples: Alphabets and numbers.
  • An image is a visual representation which conveys information. Example: an image of photosynthesis

  • A video is multimedia that consists of visual representation, sound, images, texts, and graphics.
  • Graphics is visual communication and problem solving through the use of photography and illustration.

  • The animation is a method that pictures and images are manipulated to appear as moving images.



  • Sound is that music, speech (voice narration) or any other sound.
